Step-by-Step: How to Create a Facebook Business Page (65 Plus Life Style Compliments of Boomer Biz HQ)
Step 1: Log into Facebook
- Use the Facebook account you normally use (your personal profile).
- Don’t worry: your personal profile won’t be “publicly attached” as the business—Facebook just needs an admin.

Use a real account you’ll keep long-term (not a “fake business profile”) so you don’t lose access later.
Step 2: Create Your Page
- Go to Facebook Pages:

- On Facebook, click Menu (the grid of dots) → Pages
- Click Create new Page
Step 3: Enter Your Page Basics
Fill in:
- Page Name: 65 Plus Life
- Category: Try: Website, Blog, Community, or Senior living (choose the closest match)
- Bio (Description): 1–2 short sentences

Keep the bio super clear and benefit-driven. Example:
“Helpful tips, resources, and ideas to make life easier and more enjoyable after 65.”
Step 4: Add Your Profile Photo and Cover Photo
- Profile photo: Your logo (square)
- Cover photo: A clean banner with your site name + what you offer (landscape)

Big text on the cover photo should be readable on a phone. Use short phrases like:

Step 5: Add Your Page Details (This is the “Trust” section)
Click Edit Page Info and add:
- Website: your 65 Plus Life link
- Email: a business email if you have one
- About: slightly longer version of your mission
- Location/Service area: optional

Step 6: Set Your Username (Handle)
This becomes your clean link like: facebook.com/65PlusLife

On the Page, click Add action button
